Types of Power Rangers
Power rangers are ordinary people that change into superheroes, much like superman or spider man does. However the Power rangers have their own inimitable style which owes much to the original Japanese conception as a children’s cartoon series.
Power rangers wear spandex suits, boots and a helmet with visor. Each power ranger will have his/her own color of dress. They will also have unique superpowers that can be used against whatever dastardly foe is opposing them. You could describe their outfits as technicolor ninja outfits. Just like the ninja was a superhero in ancient Japanese and Chinese times, so the Power Rangers are a modern day super hero on kid’s cartoons.
There are four main ‘colors’ of power ranger. In the initial series, these were plain read, blue, yellow and green. As the series has developed and they have embarked on more adventures, the costumes have altered slightly and a few more ‘colors’ or characters have been added to the mix. The most notable new color addition is the pink power ranger. The costumes themselves have become two tone, with white offsetting the other colors to give the suit a bit more style.
The Red Power Rangers classic costume consists of red jumpsuit with attached belt and mask.
The Power Rangers Operation Overdrive Black Ranger costume is taken from the 15th season series. It includes the black and white jumpsuit, silver belt and helmet/mask. It also includes gloves, boot covers and a Power Rangers communicator.

A relatively recent addition to the Power Rangers gang is the pink power ranger. Obviously designed for girls, it features a pink on white jumpsuit with power rangers logo on the front. It also has a silver belt, gloves and boot covers. The pink power ranger also has a communicator to add authenticity to role playing.
