Power Rangers Costume

This is the Green Power Ranger costume for kids taken from the last series of Power Rangers, entitled RPM. It would make a great costume for Halloween or for any kids that are crazy about the Power Rangers, Ziggy Grover in particular, and want to role play and re-live the action that was on TV.

The costume consists of a green jumpsuit with the Power Rangers number logo on the front. The Green Ranger is number 4. The chest area has padding to make it look like you are muscle bound, with a rippling six pack and bulging pectoral and shoulder muscles.

There is also a yellow belt and arm cuffs. The most important part, to hide your identity anyhow, is the face mask that attaches with a strap round the back of the head. The picture shows green socks which are made to look like boots. These do not come with the costume and you have purchase them separately.

Here is some background behind Ziggy Grover the Green Power Ranger or simply Green Ranger.

Ziggy is actually from the wrong side of the tracks. He started out as a criminal or at least working for a crime syndicate but he also had a good heart as he looks after orphans in his spare time. And the proceeds of the his earnings went to help orphans.

He meets up with Dillon, the Black Ranger and this helps him to get in with the other Rangers. However, due to his past and his physical attributes, it takes some time before the team accept him as their own.

He is the least physical of the Power rangers and also quite clumsy. This is partly due to the fact that he didn’t actually pass the test to become a ranger. He just become the green ranger to stop Tenaya 7 from getting the morpher that turns a person into a power ranger.

Despite being clumsy and not very physical, his special weapon is the Turbo Axe.

This costume is designed for kids from the ages of  4-12. If your little ones have friends that also watch the show them get a few of the costume and let them create their own Power Rangers RPM team to battle the evil sentient computer virus Venjix.
