The costume has the diamond white pattern on red that you will remember from the very first episodes of this popular TV cartoon series. The red suit is a jumpsuit that opens at the back and closes with velcro strips.

The suit has various padding around the chest, shoulders and arms to make the wearer look like he has muscles bulging all over the place and more super hero like.

There is also a belt and buckle detail on the suit too.

The other part of the costume is the mask or helmet. This is a full face helmet with black visor just like from the TV series.

The first power rangers season set the tone for a series that would last 17 years and there are rumors that production will start up again next year on an 18th season. The first season set many of the ground rules for Power rangers.

For instance, they are generally teenage kids that can be transformed or ‘morphed’ into super heroes. Each one has a special power and special weapons. They also have access to a machine that when combined with one of the power rangers transforms into a sort of animal like machine called a megazord.

In the first season, the power rangers have to save the world from an evil witch named Rita Repulsa.

The red power ranger is Jason Lee Scott when he is not in the red spandex. The red ranger is the leader of the power rangers. His obvious qualities are leadership, bravery and as a skilled fighter.
